Lately I have been on a West Coast music high, listening to Tupac, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and Snoop Dogg  just to name a few. I thought i’d share some of my fav. West Coast songs/videos with you all this morning, enjoy and let me know some of your fav. West Coast songs!

The singer was arrested early Sunday morning in Las Vegas. Reason for the singing sensation’s arrest was on suspicion of narcotics.

According to the Las Vegas Journal-Review, the 23-year-old singer (born Peter Gene Hernandez), who is preparing to drop his full-length solo debut, Doo-Wops & Hooligans next month, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, after security at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino confronted him in a bathroom and allegedly found him to be in possession of narcotics.

At press time a spokesperson for the Las Vegas Police Department could not be reached for confirmation of the arrest or for clarification on what drugs Mars is said to have possessed at the time of his arrest.

Well, let’s all just hope this doesn’t ruin this dudes chances of blowing up and being the great superstar we all know he has the potential to be.. In the mean time, get it together Bruno, too early in the game for slippage.

Now there’s a difference between being a Vegetarian and being Vegan, many people get it confused quite often or just think it’s the same, let me elaborate..

Vegetarians:  do not eat meat, fish or poultry, but might eat dairy products such as cheese, eggs, yogurt or milk. Vegetarians are not as predictable in their beliefs, as there are many reasons to become vegetarian that don’t necessarily include altruism as a primary motive. For example, many vegetarians have eliminated meat for the sake of their health. In fact, there are a great many people lumped into the category of vegetarian. Lacto-vegetarians will eat dairy, but not eggs. Ovo-vegetarians will eat eggs, but not dairy. Lacto-ovo vegetarians will eat eggs and dairy products. The reasons for these choices are varied and based on individual beliefs. In some cases they are based on moral choices, and in others on dietary needs or simple preference.

Vegans: is self-committed to upholding a personal standard of living where animals are concerned. The vegan will often go beyond eliminating meat, dairy and animal products, to become an activist for animal rights. Generally, the vegan point of view is that animals are not here to be exploited by man, and that commercialization of animals necessarily involves a fundamental, inhumane component and lack of respect for basic life. Unfortunately, cruel methods are often cheaper methods, and animals raised for meat or dairy products by commercial interests are commonly and routinely kept in abusive conditions and slaughtered inhumanely in the interest of a competitive marketplace.

I definitely feel like in years to come i will convert into a Vegan

Enough said. Rih’s album “LOUD” will be released sometime Nov. 2010, no set date yet. “Loud” is said to be full of passionate dance tracks that are catchy, but keep the same deep, meaningful lyrics that Rihanna has become known for in recent years. Can’t Wait!

Just in case you may have forgotten or maybe it just temporarily slipped your mind. The deadline is getting closer for us, if you haven’t registered to vote, register. This election is so important to our country right now and its good to see that more younger people are standing up and helping to bring change by registering be apart of the Change movement and register. If your under 18 and your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and so forth hasn’t registered to vote, encourage them to do so,for you. We don’t need another eight years of hell lets get it right.

According to People and the video proof that I have Kanye West got arrested this morning for vandalism at the LAX airport.

Kanye West was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday morning after allegedly damaging a photographer’s camera:

“Mr. West was arrested at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism,” said LAX spokesman Marshall Lowe. “Initial reports say this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.”

“In addition, Mr. West’s bodyguard was arrested for vandalism and battery,” Lowe said. “Several witnesses are being interviewed by police. West and his bodyguard are being transported to an LAPD station where they’re expected to be booked.”

A TMZ.com video cameraman who was also on the scene reports that when West, 31, noticed that he was being photographed, he “rushed the photog and grabbed his camera…threw it to the ground, breaking it into pieces,” according to the website.

The TMZ.com cameraman, who was taping the events, says he was then approached by the bodyguard, who “grabbed [his] camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground.”

A rep for the rapper had no comment.
