In some major history made as of Wednesday democrats officially named Barack Obama as the Democratic nominee for President of the United States of America at the Democratic National Convention 2008. Former President Bill Clinton, whose past support for Obama has been tepid, told delegates and a national television audience that Obama “is ready to lead America and restore American leadership in the world.” With Sen. Hilary Clinton backing him 100% reguardless of him just recently choosing Joe Biden as Vice President Running Mate, she is still supporting him and urging voters to go out and vote for Barack Obama. History is surely being made and it just goes to show black people that we can do anything we want to do in this world if we just put our minds to it and stay focused Barack Obama is living proof as well as inspiration. There is limited time to vote so if you haven’t registered to vote you still have the time to do that (less than two months) lets make this happen.
