Spotted: Barack Obama

Our President Barack Obama (yea i said it!) was spotted arriving and leaving the Ed Sullivan Theatre following a taping of the ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ at the Ed Sullivan Theatre yesterday in New York City.

Looking sharp as a tack as usual.

Just in case you may have forgotten or maybe it just temporarily slipped your mind. The deadline is getting closer for us, if you haven’t registered to vote, register. This election is so important to our country right now and its good to see that more younger people are standing up and helping to bring change by registering be apart of the Change movement and register. If your under 18 and your parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and so forth hasn’t registered to vote, encourage them to do so,for you. We don’t need another eight years of hell lets get it right.

Kanye West ARRESTED!

According to People and the video proof that I have Kanye West got arrested this morning for vandalism at the LAX airport.

Kanye West was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport Thursday morning after allegedly damaging a photographer’s camera:

“Mr. West was arrested at 7:51 a.m. outside the passenger screening area by airport police on charges of vandalism,” said LAX spokesman Marshall Lowe. “Initial reports say this incident involved a paparazzo and a camera valued at more than $10,000.”

“In addition, Mr. West’s bodyguard was arrested for vandalism and battery,” Lowe said. “Several witnesses are being interviewed by police. West and his bodyguard are being transported to an LAPD station where they’re expected to be booked.”

A TMZ.com video cameraman who was also on the scene reports that when West, 31, noticed that he was being photographed, he “rushed the photog and grabbed his camera…threw it to the ground, breaking it into pieces,” according to the website.

The TMZ.com cameraman, who was taping the events, says he was then approached by the bodyguard, who “grabbed [his] camera, ripped off the mic and viewfinder and smashed it to the ground.”

A rep for the rapper had no comment.

Flavor of Love Girls News: Larissa “Bootz” Hodges/London “Deelishis” Charles

Larissa Hodges aka Bootz has confirmed on her official Myspace page that she is indeed 3 months pregnant. Here is what she wrote:

HEY EVERYONE SORRY I HAVE BEEN AWAY FOR SO LONG, BUT NOT WITHOUT GREAT NEWS! I KNOW A LOT OF YOU ARE WONDERING WHATS BEEN GOING ON WITH ME !  WELL,  I AM EXPECTING MY FIRST CHILD AND I AM VERY EXCITED! WITH MY NEW CHILD DUE MARCH 28TH 2009 COMES CHANGE, AND I AM READY FOR THIS EXPERIENCE THAT GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH!

No word on who the baby daddy is yet. And honestly who really cares?

 

 

 

 

 

 

In other news London Charles aka Deelishis, has said in a recent article that her and her boyfriend Orlando are engaged.

Flavor of Love 2 winner Deelishis (real name London Charles) is now engaged to be married. The reality star turned entrepreneur (she owns her own jean line) will join her boyfriend, 27-year-old Orlando Gordon in holy matrimony on July 19, 2009, according to Sister 2 Sister magazine.

DEELISHIS ON HER PROPOSAL: “He and I were sitting around the house watching movies. Around 5, I went into the kitchen to grab something to eat and I came back in the bedroom and he was sitting there with this little box and he said, ‘What are you doing for the rest of your life?’ I was very shocked and surprised.”

Deelishis said she and her hubby-to-be thought about eloping to avoid any media attention….what sort of media attention is beyond me….but instead decided to celebrate their union with their family and friends…and soon began making plans for a very large bridal party that will consist of 35 members including 15 bridesmaids and groomsmen. Of her engagement party, which was held at Orlando’s nightclub (he also handled all the arrangements…food, decorations, music, etc. by his lonesome), Deelishis said:
“He had these flowers that were everywhere, and these vases had these orchids and roses and lilies. It was beautiful. For most of the party I was in tears. I just cried because I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. Then I just kept staring at this man, who, I knew we would have a long-lasting relationship but I never thought he would fall into suit of feeling as though he needed to make me his bride.”
Mrs. Orlando Gordon’s bridesmaids include SWV member Taj Johnson, former Flavor of Love 2 contestant Shay ‘Buckeey’ Johnson, model Toccara Jones, video vixen Angel Lola Luv plus Deelishis’ two sisters and relatives from Orlando’s side of the family. Orlando’s 3-year old daughter, Orlandria….yes, Orlandria, has been given the title as flower girl, while Deelishis’ 9-year-old daughter, Jasmine, will play her role as a junior bridesmaid. Deelishis said in choosing the members of her bridal party….particularly her bridesmaids, she wanted ladies ‘who respect what marriage is, who respects my decision, who aren’t going to be catty and who will keep this union tight.

Beyonce’s upcoming Album

Beyonce’s third solo album will , drop on November 18th. The not yet titled album is said to be Beyonce’s most personal, reflective album. Beyonce will release two new singles, “If I Were A Boy” (which a video is being shot for in New York this week), as well as “Single Ladies,” both scheduled to hit radio airwaves October 7th. “If I Were a Boy” kind of sounds like something Ciara did…. But I can’t wait.
